PROPERTIES AND USES
Coconut Oil is obtained by cold pressing the pulp of the coconut. At room temperature, it has a solid, butter-like texture, becoming liquid above 20°C. This natural property affects its storage and use: in warmer months it can be used directly from a bottle with a dropper, while in colder seasons it may need gentle warming in a bain-marie or transferring to a wider container for easier use.
In cosmetics, Coconut Oil enhances the skin’s beauty, elasticity, and softness. It is excellent as a natural make-up remover or as a nourishing moisturiser after showering.
